![]() After taking a much- needed two year sabbatical from performing, Amber is back and singing at people! Following her turn as Phoebe in the world premier of a new musical adaptation of As You Like It with Brave Spirits Theatre, Amber is excited to make her Creative Cauldron debut in the hilarious Princess Parody musical, Disenchanted, where she will be playing Belle, The Little Mermaid, and Rapunzel. Disenchanted runs October 3rd-27th and tickets can be found here!
And even though she swore she'd never double book herself, right on the heels of Disenchanted, Amber will be diving straight into another world premier production, The Infinite Tales with 4615 Theatre. Stay tuned for updates and information regarding performance dates and ticket sales Past news: In just a few short weeks, Amber will once again team up with Flying V as they head to the Big Apple for the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival! She is thrilled to be playing Bridget in Seamus Sullivan's Valkyrie in the Roller Disco. Tickets for their session (Friday, Aug 12th--6:30!) and further information on the festival can be found here. Amber is also thrilled to announce that she has accepted the role of Maria in LiveArt DC's upcoming production of Love's LaBeers Lost --a fully immersive production/re-imagining of Shakespeare's (classic...?) Loves Labours Lost. The production will be running September 28th-October 22nd. Check back here for updates and ticket information! ... Amber is currently in rehearsals for Flying V's staged reading of Brother Mario to be performed at Awesome Con 2016. "Have Yourself A Merry Lincoln Christmas!" DCMTW--the company for whom Amber is a co-producer-- will be presenting a completely delightful Christmas Concert with our home sponsor, Lincoln Temple UCC. Hear the choir sing some classic songs and join along as we sing some of our favorite carols and Christmas hymns. All are welcome. There is no admission cost and refreshments will be provided. ... After a successful summer of shows that included Chesapeake Shakespeare's Under 30 All's Well That Ends Well and co-producing DCMTW's production of Family Portrait, Amber is thrilled to be joining forces once again with NuSass Productions for No Exit where she will be playing Estelle. ... Having closed the Brave Spirits Theatre Rep productions in December, Amber took .0934 seconds of a break and has now dived headlong into audition season. Fortunately, Amber stopped speaking in verse long enough to be understood and recently accepted the role of "Paulinka" in the NuSass production of Tony Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day which will open in April.
